This month, we’re celebrating a very special milestone at Luxe Beauty Bar—Liz’s 5th anniversary as our Salon Coordinator and Salon Manager!If you’ve ever walked through our doors, chances are Liz was the first smile you saw and the last person wishing you an amazing day on your way out. She’s the calm in the chaos, the keeper of schedules, the supportive voice in the back room, and the heart of the Luxe front desk experience.
We sat down with Liz for a fun Q&A about her journey, favorite memories, and what these last five years have meant to her.
What is your favorite part about your job?
“I really enjoy the interactions I have with all the guests. I love our quick chats before appointments. I also love my role as salon manager and providing support for the team.”
It’s no surprise to anyone who knows her—Liz shines when she’s connecting with people. Whether she’s greeting a first-time guest or talking through a busy day with a stylist, she brings warmth and genuine care to every moment.
What was your first week at Luxe like?
“My first week is a bit of a blur. I know I spent a lot of time with Amber. She taught me everything I know.”
Five years later, she’s the one doing the mentoring—but we love that her story started with the same supportive energy she now gives to others.
What’s been your favorite drink of the month?
“My favorite drink is the hot apple cider drink—we didn’t offer it this year :(”
A true autumn girl at heart.(And don’t worry, Liz… we hear you. Maybe next year!)
If you could talk to “day one Liz” and give her any advice, what would it be?
“Trust yourself and your team. It's okay to delegate.”
And if anyone embodies growing with grace, it’s Liz. Her strength has come not from perfection but from presence, patience, and leadership rooted in authenticity.
Go-to coffee order?
“Hot Pistachio Latte with Oatmilk.”
If you ever want to make her day, now you know how.
Dream job?
“This one. Duh.”
We didn’t pay her to say that—but it made our hearts melt anyway.
Biggest lesson you’ve learned in the last 5 years of leading the team?
“Show up everyday for your team and be encouraging, uplifting and always have a listening ear with no distractions.”
This is exactly what makes Liz such a cornerstone of Luxe Beauty Bar. Her leadership style is rooted in support, compassion, and showing up fully—qualities that set the tone for our entire team.
